During my stay at Rondane River Lodge, I was pleasantly surprised by the seamless blend of luxury and value that the lodge offered. The location, nestled in the serene Rondane Valley, provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of tourist groups, offering a secluded and immersive experience in nature.The newly renovated cottage we stayed in was cozy and well-appointed, with a comfortable double bed and a modern bathroom featuring a refreshing rainforest shower. The interior of the main lodge exuded a charming mix of antique Norwegian and contemporary furniture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast, served tapas-style with a variety of options, was a delightful start to the day, while the locally sourced three-course dinners were a true culinary delight.What truly elevated our experience at Rondane River Lodge were the hosts, whose warm hospitality and insightful recommendations enhanced our stay. From offering guidance on nearby activities to engaging us in enriching conversations, the hosts truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.Rondane River Lodge offers a fine balance of luxury and affordability, making it a wise choice for visitors seeking a tranquil retreat in the heart of nature without compromising on quality or comfort.
